About Exsportise Summer Academy Camps

If you are looking for a memorable and rewarding experience for your child, look no further than Exsportise.

At Exsportise we offer an Academy programme which includes a specialist option of either sport, music or dance. Students receive six hours of specialist coaching or tuition in their chosen option each week day (30 hours per week)*. We provide an environment where students improve not only their their skills and technique in their chosen specialist option, but also grow their self-confidence and social-skills.

Exsportise has been running sports and activity camps since 1988 and we know that what we offer really works! We provide a caring, fun, friendly, safe and secure environment. As a residential camp, all our staff live on-site and we offer one of the best staff-to-student ratios available. Our goal is to ensure that all students leave Exsportise with improved skills and confidence; the motivation to participate further in their chosen Academy activity; and with friendships and memories that will last them a lifetime. We are BAPA accredited.

*This is the equivalent to a full term of sport, music or dance at school - a season’s-worth of coaching and tuition in one week.

OUR HISTORY

Exsportise was founded in 1988 by Dutchman, Bram van Asselt.

As a former top-level hockey player and sports development officer, Bram saw an opportunity to develop something special and unique. He launched Exsportise originally to offer professional sports coaching to young people in the UK. Then in 1997 Exsportise began offering English language courses alongside sports coaching using sport as a catalyst for English language learning and development.

Almost 30 years later, the success of Exsportise - one of the best sports coaching and English language summer schools around today - speaks for itself.

Since its creation in 1988, Exsportise has provided professional sports coaching to more than 25,000 students. Nowadays, most students attending Exsportise come from overseas and study a combination of professional sport and English language.

In 2021, recognising that so many UK children have missed out on a significant amount of schooling and self-development due to the pandemic, Exsportise is offering an Academy programme consisting of sport, music or dance only,

HIGH LEVELS OF STAFF SUPERVISION

Exsportise offers one of the best staff-to-student ratios available. We employ qualified coaches and instructors, many of whom return year-after-year providing continuity and a very high quality of care. All of our staff live on-site and include House Parents, Medical Officers, Lifeguards and professional coaching and teaching staff, all overseen by an experienced Centre Manager at each location.
